Scaling Sustainable Cacao Farming in Colombia

In the heart of Colombia’s lush landscapes, cacao farming has emerged as a beacon of sustainable agricultural practice, promising not only economic benefits but also a pathway to environmental conservation. The recent study titled “Toward understanding the scaling out of sustainable land use systems in Colombia: integrating case study insights and national pathways design for cacao farming,” authors including Del Río Duque and Löhr, alongside Pérez-Lora, delves deeply into the intricacies of this transformative agricultural sector.
