In an era where psychological disorders are increasingly recognized as complex challenges requiring innovative therapeutic approaches, the integration of technology into mental health treatment offers new horizons. A pioneering study recently published in BMC Psychology ventures boldly into this frontier, exploring the efficacy of non-immersive virtual environments (NVEs) as a novel modality for managing hoarding disorder.
