In the realm of oncology, the experience of fatigue is often overlooked, yet it profoundly impacts the quality of life for cancer patients. Recent studies have begun to shed light on this critical aspect, leading to a growing understanding of how fatigue can manifest and affect individuals undergoing treatment. Collaboration among these professionals can forge comprehensive care plans that address the multifactorial nature of fatigue, ultimately working towards improving cancer care outcomes.

In summary, the comprehensive literature review and conceptual model presented by Carmichael et al. serve as a significant contribution to the field of oncology. By placing the patient at the heart of the discussion, this research underscores the urgent need for enhanced recognition of fatigue as a critical component of cancer experience.
