Sewage Contamination in Drinking Water: Management Challenges

Current policies must evolve to ensure they effectively address the realities of sewage intrusion. Regulatory frameworks surrounding water quality need to be robust, enabling authorities to act decisively in the face of contamination. Comprehensive guidelines that dictate the minimum standards for both drinking water and sewage management can establish a foundation upon which to build a safer and more resilient water supply system.
