The Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Commission and the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre provided significant support to enable the ISSCR to bring its hallmark event to the city of Hong Kong.

“We are honored to bring the ISSCR Annual Meeting to this region of the world for the first time since 2012 and appreciate the tremendous support of our co-sponsors to bring the meeting to Hong Kong,” Amander Clark, PhD, ISSCR President said. “It has been an incredible few years of basic discoveries and translational advances with stem cells, catapulting our field to the forefront of the most innovative science in the world. We look forward to celebrating the novel achievements of our global community in Hong Kong in 2025.”

For more than 20 years, the ISSCR Annual Meeting has convened bright minds in the stem cell field – to share knowledge, discovery, and diverse perspectives. The meeting represents the latest advances for the full breadth of our field, across multiple axes, including disciplines, geography, and cultures.

“The ISSCR 2025 Annual meeting in Hong Kong presents an unprecedent opportunity for fostering meeting of diverse minds from Asia, Oceania, the Americas and Europe that will inspire and engage stem cell researchers globally and seed international collaborations,” Kathy Cheah, Chair of the Hong Kong Bid Committee, said. “The impact will be huge!”

ISSCR 2025 will take place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and is also supported by the  Hong Kong Tourism Board and the Croucher Foundation Limited.
