The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has revealed a multitude of complexities regarding not only the virus itself but also its far-reaching repercussions on public health, particularly among vulnerable populations. In underprivileged communities, delayed presentation to medical facilities can exacerbate the course of the disease, representing a critical area for healthcare policymakers. Understanding these barriers can facilitate the development of targeted interventions that ensure equitable healthcare access to all families.
