The results of this collaboration were encapsulated in a research paper published on January 9, marking a significant milestone in the field of digital pathology.

Mayo Clinic’s strategic investments in digitalizing its pathology operations have created an extensive archive that includes more than 20 million digital slide images linked to roughly 10 million patient records. These records encompass a myriad of critical information, including treatments administered, medications taken, imaging results, clinical notes, and genomic data.
