Houston, TX – August 13, 2024 – The Texas Heart Institute (THI) is proud to announce the launch of its 2024-2025 Grand Rounds Series, beginning on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 12:00 pm CT. This prestigious series continues THI’s long-standing tradition of advancing cardiovascular education by providing a unique platform for learning and collaboration among medical professionals.

Houston, TX – August 13, 2024 – The Texas Heart Institute (THI) is proud to announce the launch of its 2024-2025 Grand Rounds Series, beginning on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 12:00 pm CT. This prestigious series continues THI’s long-standing tradition of advancing cardiovascular education by providing a unique platform for learning and collaboration among medical professionals.

Hosted in the Denton A. Cooley Auditorium in person or via streaming, the Grand Rounds series offers a weekly opportunity to engage with leading experts in cardiology and cardiovascular surgery. Attendees will gain insights into the latest advancements, innovations, and research in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cardiovascular disease. As an added benefit, participants are eligible to earn Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits for their attendance.

“Our Grand Rounds series has been a cornerstone of our educational mission since the founding of The Texas Heart Institute in 1962,” said Joseph G. Rogers, MD, President and CEO of The Texas Heart Institute. “Each year, we bring together a diverse group of experts who are pushing the boundaries of cardiovascular medicine and health, offering our attendees unparalleled access to the latest knowledge and techniques in the field.”

The Grand Round series are held each Friday at 12:00 pm CT in person at The Denton A. Cooley Auditorium, 6770 Bertner Avenue, Houston, TX, or live webcasts through the Grand Rounds website here. This flexibility allows participants to join from anywhere in the world, whether from a computer, phone, or tablet.

The series is attended by cardiology and cardiac surgery residents and fellows, faculty, allied health professionals, researchers and staff. Additionally, it attracts visitors from other clinical and teaching institutions within the Texas Medical Center, across the United States, and countries around the world, further enriching the collaborative learning environment.
