Gamification Boosts AMR Education for ASHA Workers in Mysuru

In an era where antimicrobial resistance (AMR) poses a significant global health threat, innovative educational strategies are crucial in empowering healthcare workers. A recent study has dissected the dynamics of gamification as a pedagogical tool aimed at enhancing the knowledge and engagement of Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHA) in Mysuru, India. This groundbreaking research sheds light on how integrating gameplay elements into educational frameworks can foster a deeper understanding of AMR and its implications.

AMR refers to the resistance of microorganisms to antimicrobial drugs, which leads to the ineffectiveness of treatments for infections.
