Webinar to highlight strategies, limitations of managing acute ischemic stroke
Leesburg, VA, Jan. 30, 2016 — New strategies that integrate imaging into the management of acute ischemic stroke (AIS) published in the January 2017 issue of the American Journal of Roentgenology will be discussed in a webinar hosted by ARRS.
- WHO: The webinar will feature Dr. William T.C. Yuh, a coauthor of the study "Revisiting Current Golden Rules in Managing Acute Ischemic Stroke: Evaluation of New Strategies to Further Improve Treatment Selection and Outcome." Yuh is a professor and vice chair, Department of Radiology, University of Washington, Seattle.

- WHAT: The study reexamines the fundamental hypotheses from the imaging research on which clinical practices are based and reassess the current standard clinical and imaging strategies, or golden rules, established over decades for AIS.
