UAV aircrafts provide new insights into the formation of the smallest particles in Arctic

(Leibniz Institute for Tropospheric Research (TROPOS)) Investigations of the atmosphere by means of unmanned mini-airplanes can contribute significantly to the investigation of the causes of Arctic climate change, as they provide an insight into ground-level air layers that are not monitored by other measuring stations. This is the conclusion drawn by a German research team from current measurements that have just taken place on Spitsbergen.
