<p>The journey toward effective knowledge valorization is multifaceted. At its core, it is about ensuring that research outputs transcend the confines of academia and infiltrate various sectors of society, catalyzing advancement in economic, digital, ecological, and social spheres. The challenge, however, lies in balancing the protective mechanisms of IP with the principles of OS, ensuring that knowledge is not only safeguarded but also made universally accessible to spur innovation. The IP4OS project seeks to navigate these complexities by leveraging the synergies between IP and OS towards forging pathways for sustainable innovation.</p>
