Dozens of the nation's top experts on opioid pain reliever overdoses will gather in Ann Arbor, Michigan on December 1 to share research results and the latest knowledge on many aspects of this critical public health issue.
They'll also discuss the ways healthcare providers, policymakers, community organizers and others can reduce the toll that misused opioids have on society.
Researchers from the University of Michigan who study this issue organized the event. They're also bringing in speakers and researchers from across the state and nation, including a top official of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
In-person registration is full but registration for the webcast is available via https://www.eventbrite.com/e/university-of-michigan-injury-center-opioid-overdose-summit-registration-16945953804
