Launch of the African Centre for Obesity Prevention


Members of the media are invited to attend the breakfast launch of African Centre for Obesity Prevention (ACTION).

Obesity is a global health problem and South Africa is the most obese country in Sub-Saharan Africa. To address and prevent obesity, we need science to provide the evidence and clarity. ACTION is hosted by the MRC/Wits Developmental Pathways for Health Research Unit at the University of the Witwatersrand.
