About The Study: In this survey study including over 12,000 high school students from Cleveland and its suburbs, there was a substantial reduction in tobacco product use among high school youth and a decrease in the magnitude of disparity in tobacco product use across racial, ethnic, and sex demographic groups, demonstrating the potential associated with policies raising the minimum legal age to purchase tobacco to 21 to achieve equity.
