Effect of medical marijuana card ownership on pain, insomnia, anxiety, depression

What The Study Did: This randomized clinical trial that involved 186 participants found that compared to waiting 12 weeks, immediate acquisition of a medical marijuana card led to a higher incidence and severity of cannabis use disorder and no significant improvement in symptoms of pain, anxiety or depression but improvements in sleep.
